MakE the indEx pagE light !!

hi guys!!
Our forum page is too much heavy feeling to me..when i with pc then okay but work with opera mini become tough now a days!!
It downloads 111kbs just to open our forum index page..
I think it has become too much heavy !!
As an example of others, fans forum's index page is only 12kbs..
And also now a days, i am feeling bit slower to work on forum !!
I don't know if you guys feel same as me but its true most of the members prefer to use opera mini.
And it'll be better if our forum pages become more lighter than before!!
What you guys think please share!! :help:

net-trap bro, which version of opera mini are you using ? Is it 4.1 ryte ?
I'm also using Opera Mini and PC by connecting the phone. But it seems rather no problem with me..
Perhaps your GPRS is slow..I don't know..Mine is EDGE and it can download for abt 5-10kbps only.

thats true, i use free gprs so it no problem for me but i heare others users complaining, i think its the images on the index page which causes that.

listen carefully
just do the following steps:
1) open opera mini from your phone
2) click at tools and then settings
3) remove the mark from "Load Image"
when you will login here,it may take only 11 kbs in each page!!

i normally get 25kbs speed for downloading..
I had this problem so i've expressed !!
If other members have such problem they can request our forum admins!!

I rather not understand, cuz nos is suggesting you use the option of opera not to load image, so that it will decrease the size of our site. Do you mean you don't want to use that option or you cannot find that option in opera net-trap bro ?
And with the speed of 25kbps, looks very cool that you should not have had a problem regarding viewing our forum compare to mine for only 5-10kbps with condition of lacking of network signal in my office.
